Get rid of the junk on your computer - Remove Malware

Malware, or malicious software, comes from many sources, but the most prevalent is the internet. I find that when people look for “free” on the internet, they find malware instead. The lure for free programs, free movies, images, music, etc. often leads to a malware infection and can cause issues on your computer including a slow computer. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, dishonest adware, scareware, crimeware, and other malicious and unwanted software or program. Not all malware will cause your computer to run slower, but it still a good idea to clean them up now. I use the free version of Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware to rid a system of any malware. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is an anti-malware application that can thoroughly remove even the most advanced malware. It includes a number of features, including a built in protection monitor that blocks malicious processes before they even start. Just remember that the free version does not provide real-time protection from malware. You must run the program manually to find and rid your computer of malware with Malwarebytes. There is a pay version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware that provides real-time protection. For real-time protection, I recommend AVG Free Edition. |
